Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 57-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Faith Christian advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host Sheridan (Sheridan, IN) to face the Blackhawks in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Blackhawks enter the match with a record of 2-1. Sheridan won 59-58 in their recent league match against Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN)

The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Boone for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Covington will face a Stars squad coming off a 62-48 league loss to Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN). The Stars record now stands at 1-2.
