With the victory, Rio Grande City upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Rattlers travel to Palmview (La Joya, TX) to face the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 30 match on Tuesday, December 10. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 13-10. Palmview won 53-36 in their recent non-league match against Lyford (Lyford, TX)
The Texans now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alice for a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, December 10. Ray will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 77-60 non-league loss to Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-5.
