December 8, 2022: McLeod, TX 75565 The McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Avery Bulldogs (Avery, TX), 52-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas go into the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Pewitt went down by White Oak (White Oak, TX), 56-36, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to White Oak for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Avery will encounter a Roughnecks squad coming off a 56-36 non-league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 6-4.
