Arkansas High School Basketball - Maynard holds off Crowley's Ridge Academy
December 8, 2022: Maynard, AR 72444 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Maynard Tigers (Maynard, AR) and the visiting Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons (Paragould, AR), saw Maynard's basketball squad hold off Crowley's Ridge Academy by a tally of 58-56.
With the victory, Maynard improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Armorel (Armorel, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 1A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Crowley's Ridge Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 69-35 non-league loss to Piggott (Piggott, AR).
