Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Lake can't hold off Dunbar

The Dunbar Tigers basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Cypress Lake Panthers to 28 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Lee County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Dunbar will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 64-22 non-league loss to Lehigh (Lehigh Acres, FL). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mariner (Cape Coral, FL). The Tritons enter the 5A District 11 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Mariner was nudged by Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
