Kentucky High School Basketball - Muhlenberg County nips McLean County
December 8, 2023: Greenville, KY 42345 Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 61-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Muhlenberg County upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The host Owensboro (Owensboro, KY) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Owensboro lost 73-60 in their recent league bout against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY)
Next up, the Cougars play the Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. McLean County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Tell City (Tell City, IN).
