In Friday's non-league outing, the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL), by a margin of 65-34.

The Braves (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Centennial smashed Normal West (Normal, IL), 52-50, in a league outing.
