Virginia High School Basketball - North Cross crushes The Covenant

December 8, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22902

North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 62-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Cross upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Eagles in a VISAA Division II bout on Saturday, December 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles play the Boys' Home Hilltoppers (Covington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. The Covenant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA).
