The The Covenant Eagles basketball team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 86-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA)

The Tigers now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roanoke Catholic for a Virginia Independent battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hargrave Military Academy will confront a Celtics team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 6-16.
