North Carolina High School Basketball - Community School of Davidson overwhelms Mountain Island Charter

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) and the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), saw Community School of Davidson's basketball squad wallop Mountain Island Charter by a tally of 61-12.

With the victory, Community School of Davidson improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Lincoln Charter won 64-21 in their recent league challenge against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Raptor confront the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 59-56 league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).
