North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River knocked off by East Mecklenburg

The East Mecklenburg Eagles basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting Rocky River CMS Athletics to 71 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garinger for a 4A Conference 59 contest on Tuesday, December 13. East Mecklenburg will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 68-18 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-8.

The CMS Athletics (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, North Mecklenburg ran past Hough (Cornelius, NC), 88-53, in a league contest.
