The Girard Indians basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting McKinley Red Dragons to 44 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal Mooney for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Girard will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.

The Red Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Range (Canfield, OH). The Raiders come into the Northeast 8 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, South Range was nudged by Louisville (Louisville, OH), 72-25, in a non-league contest.
