December 9, 2022: Wathena, KS 66092 Jefferson West Tigers (Meriden, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS), 57-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson West upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS) to clash with the Kaws in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Kaws go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Perry-Lecompton lost 68-56 in their recent non-league bout against Wellsville (Wellsville, KS)
