Kansas High School Basketball - Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] overwhelmed by Holton
February 14, 2023: Wathena, KS 66092 The Holton Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sabetha for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Holton will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 18-0.
The Cyclones (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Kaws come into the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Perry-Lecompton was routed by Sabetha (Sabetha, KS), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
