The Auburn Eagles basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Galax Maroon Tide to 26 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenvar for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Auburn will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 38-30 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-2.

The Maroon Tide (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Chilhowie edged Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 42-34, in a non-league contest.
