December 9, 2023: Cheney, KS 67025 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cheney Cardinals (Cheney, KS) and the visiting Chaparral Roadrunners (Anthony, KS), saw Cheney's basketball squad overcome Chaparral by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, Cheney improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Trinity Academy lost 57-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Emporia (Emporia, KS)
Next up, the Roadrunners confront the Berean Academy Warriors (Elbing, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
