December 9, 2023: Moses Lake, WA 98837 The Moses Lake Mavericks basketball team (Moses Lake, WA), was overwhelmed 88-49 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA)
The Pirates now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastmont for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle on Thursday, December 14. Davis will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Othello (Othello, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Mavericks (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pasco (Pasco, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Pasco was overwhelmed by Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA), 73-20, in a league battle.
