December 15, 2023: Wenatchee, WA 98801 In Friday's league outing, the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA), by a count of 88-52.
The Mavericks (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Sunnyside was crushed by West Valley (Yakima, WA), 67-54, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Eastmont for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 outing on Saturday, December 16. Wenatchee will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 83-49 league loss to Davis (Yakima, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
