In Saturday's non-league match, the host Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored a good 69-58 triumph over the East Fairmont Bees.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Tuesday, December 12. Nitro will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 69-66 league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WV).
