Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV), 65-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to play the Indians in a Cardinal bout on Friday, January 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Poca The Dots (Poca, WV) in a Cardinal bout, on Friday, January 5. Logan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The The Dots go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 54-34 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).
