The Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Winfield Generals to 52 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapmanville Regional for a Cardinal contest on Tuesday, January 30. Nitro will battle a Tigers team coming off a 48-43 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

The Generals (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers come into the Freelance contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Lincoln County prevailed over Scott (Madison, WV), 60-57, in a league contest.
