December 9, 2023: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 The Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) basketball nipped the host Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 62-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Springer got by Questa (Questa, NM), 60-36, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Tse' Yi' Gai for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14. Jemez Valley will encounter a Dine Warriors squad coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Coronado (Gallina, NM). The Dine Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
