In Saturday's league match, the host River Valley Vikings basketball team scored a good 61-52 triumph over the Pleasant Spartans.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 12. River Valley will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 49-46 league loss to Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH).

With the defeat, Pleasant moves to 3-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Northmor (Galion, OH) to meet the Golden Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12.
