Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) and the host MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), saw Sacred Heart-Griffin's basketball squad wallop MacArthur by a tally of 53-21.

With the victory, Sacred Heart-Griffin improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Decatur Eisenhower won 55-49 in their recent league challenge against Lanphier (Springfield, IL)

Next up, the Generals confront the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
