The Freedom Patriots bounced the host East Burke Cavaliers basketball squad by a final score of 83-43 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Patriots face the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, December 10. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 68-61 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).

The Cavaliers (0-6) will now prepare for their outing against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Patton was trounced by Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 34-29, in a non-league game.
