South Carolina High School Basketball - Lower Richland nips Lugoff-Elgin

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team scored a close 47-44 triumph over the Lugoff-Elgin Demons.

The Diamond Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last match, White Knoll got by Aiken (Aiken, SC), 67-48, in a non-league match.

The Demons now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Lugoff-Elgin will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
