In Tuesday's league contest, the host New Braunfels Unicorns basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Wagner Thunderbirds.

The Unicorns (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Orange Grove was tipped by Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 64-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds confront the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Wagner will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record.
