In Tuesday's league contest, the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers basketball team scored a big 72-41 triumph over the Somerset Eagles.

Next, the Hilltoppers face the Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) in a Laurel Highlands outing, on Thursday, December 11. Westmont Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Bisons enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 64-29 league loss to Richland (Johnstown, PA).

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers enter the Laurel Highlands outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Bishop McCort was overwhelmed by Forest Hills (Sidman, PA), 68-60, in a league outing.
