Georgia High School Basketball - Claxton routed by Emanuel County Institute
December 9, 2025: Twin City, GA 30471 Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), 64-29 in a league contest.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks go into the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Screven County smashed Savannah (Savannah, GA), 52-12, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 contest, on Friday, December 12. Claxton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 1-6 record after their 49-46 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA).
