Illinois High School Basketball - Canton knocked off by Dunlap
February 1, 2023: Canton, IL 61520 The Dunlap Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Canton Little Giants to 50 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Chicago Public - Blue South contest on Saturday, February 4. Dunlap will battle a Panthers team coming off a 52-49 league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-11.
The Little Giants (5-19) will now prepare for their contest against Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Illini West ran past West Prairie (Sciota, IL), 67-25, in a non-league contest.
