Michigan High School Basketball - Glen Lake overwhelms Leland
February 1, 2023: Leland, MI 49654 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) and the host Leland Comets (Leland, MI), saw Glen Lake's basketball squad wallop Leland by a count of 55-13.
With the victory, Glen Lake upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Lakers host Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to play the Stags in a Northwest challenge on Friday, February 3. The Stags come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Kingsley lost 46-35 in their recent league challenge against Frankfort (Frankfort, MI)
Next up, the Comets play the Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) in a Northwest challenge, on Friday, February 3. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Portagers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 63-58 league win over Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI).
