New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley overwhelms Coronado
February 1, 2023: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) and the visiting Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), saw Jemez Valley's basketball squad wallop Coronado by a tally of 66-30.
With the victory, Jemez Valley improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Saints in a A District 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Chesterton Academy lost 38-32 in their recent league challenge against Coronado (Gallina, NM)
Next up, the Leopards play the Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM) in a A District 7 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 57-14 non-league loss to Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM).
