New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley fells Legacy Academy
January 26, 2023: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM), 47-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Jemez Valley upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Santa Fe Prep/Santa Fe Waldorf lost 42-29 in their recent non-league bout against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Silverbacks play the Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) in a A District 7 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Legacy Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 39-30 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM).
