The Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Brady Eagles (Brady, NE), 71-36 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Paxton overwhelmed South Platte (Big Springs, NE), 62-48, in a league bout.
