Maine High School Basketball - Presque Isle topples Bucksport
February 1, 2024: Presque Isle, ME 04769 In Thursday's league outing, the Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME), by a margin of 48-31.
The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies go into the B North outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Foxcroft Academy defeated Central (East Corinth, ME), 58-43, in a non-league outing.
The Golden Bucks now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Hermon for a B North outing on Saturday, February 3. Bucksport will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 55-52 league loss to Orono (Orono, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.
