North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke can't hold off Newton-Conover
February 1, 2024: Newton, NC 28658 The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting East Burke Cavaliers to 34 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Devils now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bandys for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6.
The Cavaliers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record.
