February 6, 2024: Lincolnton, NC 28092 The Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) basketball nipped the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 43-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (7-6) will now prepare for their test against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, West Caldwell got by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 67-31, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Bunker Hill for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. East Burke will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 37-16 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-11.
