Nebraska High School Basketball - Cozad nips Ogallala

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cozad Haymakers basketball team scored a close 66-61 triumph over the Ogallala Indians.

The Haymakers (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holdrege (Holdrege, NE). The Dusters go into the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Holdrege nipped Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE), 79-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Ogallala will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 13-5 record after their 71-25 non-league win over Valentine (Valentine, NE).
