The Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) basketball crushed the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), 68-46 in Saturday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mora for a 2A District 5 bout on Thursday, February 6. Mesa Vista will play a Rangers/Rangerettes team coming off a 33-27 league win over Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes record now stands at 11-9.
