Alaska High School Basketball - West Valley sneaks past Palmer
February 1, 2025: Fairbanks, AK 99709 The West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) basketball edged the visiting Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), 45-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolf Pack now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Monroe Catholic for a 4A Mid Alaska bout on Tuesday, February 4. West Valley will play a Rams team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Rams record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Palmer falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Moose host Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to play the Warriors in a 4A Northern Lights bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Wasilla won 49-38 in their recent league bout against Kodiak (Kodiak, AK)
