The Hershey Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Chase County Longhorns to 48 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Kearney Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Hershey will confront a Stars team coming off a 56-31 non-league loss to Scotus (Columbus, NE). The Stars record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Chase County falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns host St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to confront the Irish in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Irish go into the game with a record of 4-14.
