February 1, 2025: Roanoke, IL 61561 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) and the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), observed Roanoke-Benson's basketball team knock off Fieldcrest by a score of 61-52.
The Rockets (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves come into the Tri-County challenge with a 10-15 record. In their last challenge, Midland dropped by Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 52-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) in a Heart Of Illinois challenge, on Monday, February 3. Fieldcrest will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 45-20 league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL).
