The Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) basketball toppled the host Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA), 53-35 in Saturday's league bout.

The Fords now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Conestoga for a Central bout on Tuesday, February 4. Haverford will play a Pioneers team coming off a 50-43 league loss to Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Lower Merion falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA) to play the Royals in a Central bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Upper Darby lost 47-34 in their recent league bout against Ridley (Folsom, PA)
