The Clare Pioneers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Harrison Hornets to 33 in the Pioneers league triumph on Thursday.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tawas Area for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 15.

The Hornets (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record.
