Ohio High School Basketball - Midview knocked off by Avon
February 10, 2023: Avon, OH 44011 The Avon Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Midview Middies to 52 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lorain for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Avon will battle a Titans team coming off a 72-42 league loss to Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH). The Titans record now stands at 9-9.
The Middies (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Pioneers enter the Southwestern match with a 15-6 record. In their last match, Elyria knocked off Steele (Amherst, OH), 84-29, in a league match.
