Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Sault Area upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Blue Devils host Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Tawas Area won 69-32 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Gaylord Blue Devils (Gaylord, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Cheboygan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 68-63 league win over Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI).
