Michigan High School Basketball - Coldwater can't hold off Western
February 10, 2023: Parma, MI 49269 The Western Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Coldwater Cardinals to 40 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hastings for a Interstate Eight contest on Tuesday, February 14. Western will battle a Saxons team coming off a 61-56 league win over Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Saxons record now stands at 8-8.
The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Norrix was nudged by Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI), 53-45, in a league contest.
