Michigan High School Basketball - Harper Creek knocked off by Western
February 24, 2023: Parma, MI 49269 The Western Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Harper Creek Beavers to 53 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Napoleon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 28. Western will meet a Pirates team coming off a 46-40 league win over Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 19-0.
The Beavers (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Charlotte ran past Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI), 68-49, in a league contest.
