The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Granby Memorial Bears to 48 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ledyard for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will battle a Colonels team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 2-15.

The Bears (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record.
