Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) and the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), saw Middletown's basketball squad hold off Pilgrim by a tally of 62-58.

With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to confront the Broncos in a Division 2 challenge on Monday, February 13. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Burrillville won 78-34 in their recent league challenge against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Pilgrim will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record.
